Refund and Cancellation Policy

Whilst our whole philosophy is that you will always be 100% satisfied with your item/s. Please see below for more information.  
Purchases from our shop
Your rights are protected by law; governed by The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.  In brief; if you change your mind please complete our cancellation form at your earliest convenience; you do however, have 14 days on receipt of your item/s to cancel (please note excessive handling/use of your items, negligence etc may impact on this policy).  Please get in touch via our pro forma, email or telephone if you are cancelling your order and require to return an item/s.
Your consumer rights allow as a minimum 30 days from receipt of your item/s to return to us if not of satisfactory quality; fit for purpose or as described.  We do not envisage this would be the case. If however, you are not happy in terms of your legal rights please contact us as soon as is reasonably practical.  For hygiene reasons earrings are exempt from policy (please however, get in touch to discuss if there are any concerns following receipt of earrings).  Items must be unworn, unused and in their original packaging.  Returns also require proof of purchase and any refund will be made via the original payment method.
We reserve the right to apply a charge for our loss if you have failed to take reasonable care of the item/s whilst in your care or when returning.  We provide a free returns service, if you have received your item/s and wish to return we will send a returns slip to you; please retain all original packaging if you are returning an item/s.
Commissions/Amendments

At Designer Engagements all our commissioned pieces/packages are tailored specific to your needs.  The finest stones and metals will be chosen by you; size, colour, shape, clarity, as such and in conjunction with our costing process, we reserve the right to refuse cancellation of your product/service.  Bespoke pieces have as a minimum 50% deposit contribution that is non refundable if you cancel your order.  Given the level of customisation to tailer your experience, as a business we can not be liable if you change your mind or are not happy with your chosen piece.  Bespoke pieces are non refundable, however, if you have any concerns please discuss with us and we will also try and accommodate your wishes where we can.  Fine jewellery is such a valuable asset.  That is why we strongly advise you insure to protect its value.  Precious stones are that for a reason, Designer Engagements will insure your piece for delivery, however, can not be held responsible for damage caused by negligence, accidents or otherwise.   

Once you have chosen your piece/s and placed your order with appropriate deposit we can not provide a cancellation of this.
